We are seeking a highly experienced Senior Procurement Manager to join our team in Abu Dhabi. The Senior Procurement Manager will be responsible for leading the procurement department in sourcing and purchasing pharmaceutical products and services, ensuring cost-effectiveness, quality, and timely delivery.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement procurement strategies to achieve cost savings and improve efficiency in the procurement process
- Negotiate contracts with suppliers to secure favorable terms and conditions
- Manage supplier relationships and conduct regular performance reviews
- Analyze market trends and identify potential suppliers for new products or services
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to understand their procurement needs and requirements
- Lead a team of procurement professionals and provide guidance and support as needed
- Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures, as well as regulatory requirements
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or related field
- Minimum of 8 years of experience in procurement, preferably in the pharmaceutical industry
- Strong negotiation skills and ability to build and maintain relationships with suppliers
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Proven leadership experience and ability to effectively manage a team
- Proficiency in MS Office and procurement software
