Position Overview:

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Senior Production Manager to oversee our production operations in the telecommunications sector. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring the efficient and effective production of telecommunications products and services, meeting both quality and delivery standards. Key Responsibilities:

- Production Management: Lead and manage all aspects of the production process, ensuring alignment with company goals and objectives. Oversee the production schedule, resource allocation, and workflow to optimize efficiency and meet deadlines.

- Team Leadership: Supervise and mentor a team of production staff, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and high performance. Conduct regular performance reviews and provide training and development opportunities to enhance team skills.

- Quality Assurance: Implement and maintain quality control measures throughout the production process. Collaborate with the quality assurance team to ensure that products meet industry standards and customer expectations.

- Process Optimization: Analyze production processes and implement improvements to enhance productivity and reduce costs. Utilize data-driven decision-making to identify bottlenecks and streamline operations.

- Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams including engineering, supply chain, and sales to ensure alignment and support for production goals. Facilitate communication between departments to address production-related challenges.

- Budget Management: Develop and manage the production budget, ensuring optimal use of resources while maintaining cost efficiency. Monitor expenses and implement cost-saving initiatives where possible.

- Health and Safety Compliance: Ensure that all production activities comply with health and safety regulations. Promote a safe working environment and conduct regular safety audits.

- Reporting: Prepare and present regular reports on production performance metrics to senior management. Analyze trends and make recommendations for improvements.

Qualifications:

- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Manufacturing, Business Administration, or a related field.
- A minimum of 5 years of experience in production management within the telecommunications sector or a related field.
- Proven experience in leading teams and managing production operations.
- Strong understanding of production processes, quality control, and lean manufacturing principles.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work under pressure.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with diverse teams.
- Proficiency in production management software and tools.

Preferred Skills:

- Master's degree in a relevant field.
- Certifications in project management or production management (e.g., PMP, Six Sigma).
- Familiarity with telecommunications technologies and industry trends.
