Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Project Controller to join our dynamic team in Dubai, specializing in Information Technology projects. The ideal candidate will have a comprehensive understanding of project management principles and a proven track record in financial oversight, risk management, and project performance evaluation within the IT sector. This role requires an analytical mindset, exceptional organizational skills, and the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams to ensure project success.

Key Responsibilities:
- Project Financial Management: Oversee project budgets, forecasts, and financial reporting, ensuring projects are delivered within budget and financial objectives are met.
- Performance Monitoring: Develop and implement project performance metrics and KPIs to monitor project progress, identify variances, and recommend corrective actions as necessary.
- Risk Management: Identify potential risks and issues that may impact project delivery. Develop and maintain risk management plans to mitigate risks effectively.
- Stakeholder Communication: Interface with project stakeholders, including clients, project managers, and senior management, to provide regular updates on project status, financial health, and performance metrics.
- Reporting: Prepare and present detailed project status reports, financial analyses, and forecasts to senior management, ensuring transparency and accountability throughout the project lifecycle.
- Process Improvement: Continuously assess and improve project control processes and tools to enhance efficiency and effectiveness in project execution.
- Team Leadership: Mentor and guide junior project controllers and project team members, promoting best practices in project control and financial management.
- Compliance and Standards: Ensure that all project activities comply with organizational policies, industry standards, and regulatory requirements.

Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business Administration, Information Technology, or a related field. A Master’s degree or relevant certification (e.g., PMP, PRINCE2) is preferred.
- 5 to 8 years of experience in project control, project management, or financial management, preferably within the Information Technology sector.
- Strong proficiency in project management software tools and financial management systems.
- Exceptional analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data and provide actionable insights.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to present information effectively to various audiences.
- Proven track record of managing multiple projects simultaneously and meeting tight deadlines.
- Strong attention to detail and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
