Job Description:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior SAP Engineer to join our dynamic team in the education sector based in Al Ain. This role is pivotal in driving the implementation and optimization of SAP solutions that enhance our operational efficiency and support our educational objectives. The ideal candidate will possess a strong technical background in SAP systems, coupled with a deep understanding of the unique challenges faced in the education industry.

Key Responsibilities:

- Lead the design, development, and implementation of SAP applications and solutions tailored to the needs of the educational environment.
- Collaborate with stakeholders, including academic and administrative staff, to gather requirements and translate them into technical specifications.
- Optimize and troubleshoot existing SAP modules to improve performance and user experience, ensuring high availability and reliability of systems.
- Manage SAP projects from conception through to completion, adhering to timelines, budgets, and quality standards.
- Provide training and support to end-users, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and knowledge sharing across the organization.
- Stay updated with the latest SAP technologies and trends, evaluating their applicability to our systems and processes.
- Develop and maintain technical documentation, including system architecture, user guides, and operational procedures.
- Work closely with IT security teams to ensure compliance with data protection regulations and best practices in system security.
- Mentor and guide junior SAP engineers, facilitating their professional development and enhancing team capabilities.

Qualifications:

- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field; Master’s degree is a plus.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in SAP engineering, with a proven track record in implementing and supporting SAP solutions.
- Strong expertise in SAP ERP modules (e.g., FI, CO, MM, SD, HR) relevant to the education sector.
- Proficiency in SAP ABAP programming, and experience with SAP Fiori and SAP S/4HANA is highly desirable.
- Familiarity with integration of SAP with other systems and platforms, including cloud solutions.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
- Strong communication skills, with the ability to convey technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
- Knowledge of educational management systems and processes is an advantage.
