Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Team Lead to join our dynamic team in the Aerospace and Defense sector based in Ajman. The ideal candidate will possess a strong technical background, exceptional leadership capabilities, and a proven track record of successfully managing complex projects. This position requires a strategic thinker who can collaborate with cross-functional teams, drive innovation, and ensure the successful execution of programs aligned with our organizational goals.

Key Responsibilities:

- Lead and manage a diverse team of engineers and technical professionals, fostering a culture of collaboration, innovation, and high performance.
- Oversee the planning, execution, and delivery of aerospace and defense projects, ensuring adherence to timelines, budgets, and quality standards.
- Develop and implement project strategies, risk management plans, and contingency plans to mitigate potential challenges.
- Collaborate with stakeholders, including clients, suppliers, and internal departments, to define project requirements and expectations.
- Provide technical expertise in aerospace and defense technologies, ensuring the team is equipped with the necessary skills and knowledge.
- Monitor project progress and performance metrics, using data-driven insights to inform decision-making and continuous improvement efforts.
- Facilitate regular team meetings, providing updates on project status, addressing concerns, and celebrating achievements.
- Mentor and develop team members, identifying opportunities for professional growth and skill enhancement.
- Ensure compliance with industry regulations, safety standards, and quality assurance practices.
- Stay current with industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices to drive innovation and maintain competitive advantage.

Qualifications:

- Bachelor’s degree in Aerospace Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field. A Master’s degree is preferred.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in the aerospace and defense industry, with at least 2 years in a leadership or managerial role.
- Strong understanding of aerospace systems, defense technologies, and related regulatory requirements.
- Proven experience in project management methodologies, tools, and techniques.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively engage and influence stakeholders at all levels.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a keen attention to detail.
- Demonstrated ability to lead teams in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and deliver results under pressure.
- Proficiency in project management software and engineering tools.
