Job Overview:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior UX Researcher to join our dynamic team in Dubai. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in user experience research, particularly within the Aerospace and Defense sectors. You will play a pivotal role in shaping the user experience of our products and systems, ensuring they meet the needs of our diverse user base, which includes military personnel, engineers, and civilian contractors. Your insights will directly influence design decisions, product development, and strategic initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive user research using a variety of methodologies, including interviews, surveys, usability testing, ethnographic studies, and field studies, to gather qualitative and quantitative data.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including product managers, designers, engineers, and stakeholders, to define research objectives and integrate findings into the product development process.
- Analyze and synthesize research data to generate actionable insights and user personas that inform design decisions and strategy.
- Create detailed research reports and presentations to communicate findings and recommendations to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Advocate for user-centered design principles throughout the organization and mentor junior researchers in best practices for user research and testing.
- Stay updated on industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies in UX research and design, particularly within the Aerospace and Defense sectors.
- Develop and maintain a user testing lab and other resources to facilitate ongoing research efforts.
- Lead workshops and collaborative sessions to foster a culture of user-centricity and design thinking within the organization.

Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Human-Computer Interaction, Psychology, Design, or a related field; Master’s degree preferred.
- A minimum of 5 years of experience in UX research, with a proven track record in the Aerospace and Defense industries being highly desirable.
- Strong understanding of user-centered design principles and methodologies.
- Proficiency in both qualitative and quantitative research methods, including usability testing, field studies, surveys, and data analysis.
- Experience with UX research tools such as UserTesting, Optimal Workshop, and analytics software.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to convey complex ideas clearly and persuasively to various audiences.
- Strong analytical skills, with the ability to interpret data and translate findings into actionable recommendations.
- Familiarity with design tools such as Sketch, Figma, or Adobe Creative Suite is a plus.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.
