Position Overview:

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Art Director to join our dynamic team in the Aerospace and Defense sector. The ideal candidate will be responsible for leading the visual direction of various projects, ensuring that all output aligns with our brand standards while effectively communicating our mission and values. This position requires a creative visionary with a strong understanding of design principles, trends in the aerospace and defense industry, and a passion for innovation.

Key Responsibilities:

- Lead the creative vision for multiple projects, ensuring high-quality visual design that resonates with our target audience.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including marketing, engineering, and product development to conceptualize and execute design strategies that enhance brand identity and product perception.
- Oversee all stages of the design process from initial concept development to final execution, ensuring projects are delivered on time and within budget.
- Mentor and guide junior designers, providing constructive feedback and fostering a collaborative and innovative team environment.
- Stay updated on industry trends, emerging technologies, and design innovations to inform and inspire the creative process.
- Develop and maintain a cohesive visual language across all marketing materials, including digital, print, and multimedia content.
- Present and articulate design concepts to stakeholders, incorporating feedback and ensuring alignment with business objectives.
- Manage multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining attention to detail and quality.
- Collaborate with external vendors and freelancers as necessary to enhance project execution.

Qualifications:

- Bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design, Fine Arts, or a related field.
- A minimum of 5 years of experience in a senior design role, preferably in the aerospace and defense industry.
- Strong portfolio demonstrating a range of design styles and projects, with a focus on branding, marketing collateral, and multimedia content.
- Proficiency in design software such as Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign), 3D modeling tools, and animation software.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to articulate design concepts and rationale clearly.
- Strong leadership and mentoring abilities, with a proven track record of guiding teams to success.
- Knowledge of aerospace and defense industry standards and regulations is a plus.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines while maintaining a high standard of quality.
