Job Description:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Fund Manager to join our dynamic team in Dubai, specializing in the pharmaceuticals sector. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in investment management, with a proven track record of successfully managing and growing funds within the healthcare and pharmaceutical industries.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Fund Management:
- Oversee and manage a diverse portfolio of pharmaceutical investments, ensuring alignment with the company’s strategic objectives and risk appetite.
- Conduct thorough due diligence on potential investment opportunities, including financial analysis, market research, and competitive landscape assessments.

2. Investment Strategy Development:
- Develop and implement investment strategies aimed at maximizing returns while minimizing risks within the pharmaceutical sector.
- Monitor market trends and industry developments, adjusting investment strategies as necessary to capitalize on emerging opportunities.

3. Performance Analysis:
- Regularly evaluate and report on fund performance, providing insights and recommendations to senior management and stakeholders.
- Utilize performance metrics and analytics tools to assess portfolio performance and identify areas for improvement.

4. Relationship Management:
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including investors, regulatory bodies, and industry partners.
- Represent the company at industry conferences, investor meetings, and networking events to enhance visibility and attract new investment opportunities.

5. Team Leadership:
- Mentor and guide junior fund managers and analysts, fostering a collaborative and high-performance team environment.
- Lead team meetings and facilitate knowledge sharing to ensure continuous learning and improvement.

6. Regulatory Compliance:
- Ensure all investment activities comply with relevant regulations and internal policies, maintaining the highest standards of ethics and governance.
- Prepare and present compliance reports to senior management and regulatory authorities as required.

Qualifications:

- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business Administration, Economics, or a related field. A Master’s degree or relevant professional certification (CFA, CAIA, etc.) is preferred.
- A minimum of 5 years of experience in fund management or investment analysis, with a focus on the pharmaceutical or healthcare sector.
- Strong analytical skills and proficiency in financial modeling, valuation techniques, and investment analysis tools.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively present complex financial information to diverse audiences.
- Proven ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment, managing multiple priorities and deadlines.
- Strong understanding of the pharmaceutical industry, including market dynamics, regulatory frameworks, and competitive landscape.
