Job Description:

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Senior iOS Developer to join our dynamic team in the Aerospace and Defense sector. This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to innovative projects that play a vital role in enhancing national security and advancing aerospace technologies. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in iOS application development, a passion for technology, and a commitment to delivering high-quality software solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

- Design, develop, and maintain robust, scalable, and high-performance iOS applications tailored for the Aerospace and Defense industry.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including product management, UX/UI designers, and system architects, to define and implement innovative solutions.
- Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code following best practices and coding standards.
- Conduct thorough testing and debugging of applications to ensure optimal performance and security.
- Participate in code reviews to ensure code quality and share knowledge with team members.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest industry trends, technologies, and best practices in iOS development and apply this knowledge to enhance our applications.
- Mentor and guide junior developers, fostering a culture of learning and collaboration within the team.
- Work closely with stakeholders to gather requirements, provide technical insights, and contribute to project planning and timelines.
- Contribute to the development of technical documentation and user manuals.

Qualifications:

- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
- A minimum of 5 years of professional experience in iOS application development.
- Strong proficiency in Swift and Objective-C programming languages.
- Experience with iOS frameworks such as UIKit, Core Data, and Core Animation.
- Familiarity with RESTful APIs to connect iOS applications to back-end services.
- Knowledge of software development methodologies, including Agile and Scrum.
- Experience with version control systems, particularly Git.
- Understanding of security best practices in mobile application development, especially in the context of Aerospace and Defense applications.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.

Preferred Qualifications:

- Experience with mobile application deployment and distribution via the App Store or enterprise solutions.
- Familiarity with CI/CD tools and practices.
- Knowledge of aerospace and defense industry standards and regulations is a plus.
- Experience in integrating mobile applications with IoT devices or embedded systems.
