Job Description:

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Special Education Teacher Assistant to join our team in Abu Dhabi. The Special Education Teacher Assistant will work closely with the Special Education Teacher to support students with special needs in a construction-based educational setting.

Responsibilities:
- Assist the Special Education Teacher in implementing individualized education plans (IEPs) for students with special needs
- Provide one-on-one or small group support to students with disabilities in the classroom
- Help students with daily tasks and activities, including personal care and hygiene
- Support students in developing social and communication skills
- Monitor and track student progress, and provide feedback to the Special Education Teacher
- Assist in creating and maintaining a safe and inclusive learning environment for all students
- Collaborate with other teachers and support staff to ensure the success of students with special needs

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Special Education or a related field
- Previous experience working with individuals with disabilities in an educational setting
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team
- Patience, empathy, and a passion for working with students with special needs
- Knowledge of best practices in special education and behavior management
- Fluency in English; Arabic language skills are a plus

Preferred Qualifications:
- Certified Special Education Teacher Assistant
- Experience working with students with autism, ADHD, and other developmental disabilities
- Familiarity with assistive technology and adaptive equipment

This is a full-time position based in Abu Dhabi. The salary and benefits package will be competitive and commensurate with experience.
