Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly organized and proactive Strategic Assistant to support our leadership team in the Aerospace and Defense sector. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in strategic planning, project management, and operations within a fast-paced environment. You will play a crucial role in facilitating communication, coordinating projects, and assisting with strategic initiatives that drive the organization’s goals.
Key Responsibilities:
- Strategic Support: Assist senior management in the development and execution of strategic initiatives. Conduct research, analyze data, and prepare reports to inform decision-making processes.
- Project Coordination: Manage multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring timely completion and alignment with organizational objectives. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to monitor progress and identify potential challenges.
- Meeting Management: Organize and coordinate meetings, including scheduling, agenda preparation, and minute-taking. Follow up on action items to ensure accountability and progress.
- Communication Liaison: Act as a point of contact between management and internal/external stakeholders. Prepare and disseminate communication materials, including presentations and briefing documents.
- Administrative Support: Provide high-level administrative support, including calendar management, travel arrangements, and expense reporting. Maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion.
- Data Management: Collect, analyze, and present data related to strategic initiatives and operational performance. Utilize data to identify trends and support continuous improvement efforts.
- Market Analysis: Conduct market research and analysis to support strategic planning efforts and identify emerging trends and opportunities within the aerospace and defense sector.
- Compliance and Reporting: Assist in ensuring compliance with relevant regulations and standards. Prepare reports for internal and external stakeholders to track progress on strategic initiatives.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Aerospace Engineering, or a related field. A Master’s degree is a plus.
- A minimum of 4 years of experience in a strategic, administrative, or project management role, preferably within the aerospace and defense industry.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to synthesize complex information.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English; proficiency in Arabic is an advantage.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and project management tools.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment, with strong attention to detail.
- Demonstrated ability to prioritize tasks, manage time effectively, and handle multiple responsibilities simultaneously.
- Understanding of the aerospace and defense sector, including industry trends, regulations, and challenges.
