We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Substance Abuse Social Worker Assistant to join our team in Sharjah. The ideal candidate will have a passion for helping individuals struggling with substance abuse issues and will work closely with our social worker to provide support and guidance to clients in a retail setting.

Responsibilities:
- Assist the social worker in conducting assessments and developing treatment plans for clients with substance abuse issues
- Provide individual and group counseling sessions to clients
- Monitor and track client progress and adjust treatment plans as needed
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals and community resources to provide comprehensive care for clients
- Educate clients and their families on the effects of substance abuse and available treatment options
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date client records and documentation

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in social work or a related field
- Previous experience working in a substance abuse treatment setting is preferred
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
- Empathetic and non-judgmental approach to working with clients
- Fluency in Arabic and English is required

This is a full-time position based in Sharjah, UAE. The salary for this position will be commensurate with experience.
