Job Description:

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Survey Crew Chief to lead our surveying operations within the financial services sector in Dubai. The ideal candidate will play a critical role in ensuring accurate data collection and analysis to support various financial projects and initiatives. This position requires a strong technical background in surveying, excellent leadership skills, and the ability to work collaboratively within a dynamic team environment.

Key Responsibilities:

- Leadership and Team Management:
- Lead and supervise a team of survey technicians and field staff, ensuring high-quality performance and adherence to safety protocols.
- Conduct training and mentoring for team members to enhance their skills and capabilities in surveying techniques and equipment usage.

- Survey Execution:
- Plan and execute field surveys, including topographic, boundary, and construction surveys, using advanced surveying equipment and software.
- Ensure that data collected is accurate, reliable, and meets project specifications and deadlines.

- Data Analysis and Reporting:
- Analyze survey data and prepare detailed reports, maps, and graphical representations to support financial analyses and decision-making processes.
- Collaborate with financial analysts and project managers to provide insights and recommendations based on survey findings.

- Quality Control:
- Implement quality control measures to ensure that all surveying activities comply with industry standards and regulatory requirements.
- Conduct regular inspections and audits of fieldwork and data collection processes to maintain high standards of accuracy and safety.

- Client Interaction:
- Liaise with clients, stakeholders, and project teams to understand project requirements and provide updates on survey progress and findings.
- Present survey results and findings to clients and stakeholders in a clear and concise manner.

- Equipment Management:
- Oversee the maintenance and calibration of surveying equipment to ensure optimal performance and reliability.
- Stay updated on the latest surveying technologies and methodologies to enhance operational efficiency.

Qualifications:

- Bachelor’s degree in Surveying, Geomatics, Civil Engineering, or a related field.
- A minimum of 5 years of experience in surveying, with at least 2 years in a supervisory or leadership role.
- Proficiency in using surveying instruments such as total stations, GPS, and digital levels.
- Experience with surveying software and data management systems.
- Strong understanding of relevant regulations and standards in the financial services sector.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Valid UAE driving license is preferred.
