Job Description:

We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Swim Instructor Assistant to join our educational team in Dubai. The ideal candidate will be passionate about swimming, possess strong interpersonal skills, and have a commitment to fostering a safe and enjoyable learning environment for students of all ages and abilities. This position is perfect for individuals looking to develop their skills in aquatic education and contribute to the growth and development of swimmers in our community.

Key Responsibilities:

- Assist the lead Swim Instructor in delivering high-quality swim lessons to students, ensuring they receive personalized attention and support.
- Help create and implement lesson plans that cater to various skill levels and learning styles, promoting water safety and swimming proficiency.
- Monitor and evaluate student progress, providing constructive feedback and encouragement to help them achieve their swimming goals.
- Ensure the safety and well-being of all participants during lessons by maintaining a vigilant presence in and around the water.
- Prepare and organize swim equipment and facilities before and after lessons, ensuring a clean and safe swimming environment.
- Assist in managing class sizes and maintaining a positive atmosphere conducive to learning.
- Communicate effectively with students and parents regarding class schedules, progress updates, and any concerns that may arise.
- Participate in team meetings and training sessions to enhance your own skills and stay updated on best practices in swim instruction and water safety.
- Promote a positive and enjoyable experience for all students, encouraging them to develop a lifelong love for swimming.

Qualifications:

- A minimum of 1 year of experience in a swim instruction or aquatic environment preferred (less than 8 years of experience accepted).
- Certification in CPR and First Aid is highly desirable; willingness to obtain certification is acceptable.
- Previous experience working with children and/or adults in a teaching or coaching capacity is a plus.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to connect with diverse audiences.
- A passion for swimming and a commitment to promoting water safety.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and evenings.
- Physical stamina and fitness to perform swim instruction activities effectively.
