We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Tax Specialist to join our team in Abu Dhabi within the pharmaceutical industry. The Tax Specialist will be responsible for managing all tax-related matters for the company, ensuring compliance with local tax laws and regulations, and optimizing tax efficiency.

Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare and file all tax returns, including VAT, corporate tax, and withholding tax, in compliance with local regulations
- Conduct tax research and analysis to support tax planning initiatives and ensure compliance with changing tax laws
- Review and analyze financial statements to identify tax implications and opportunities for tax savings
- Coordinate with external tax advisors and authorities on tax audits and assessments
- Develop and implement tax strategies to minimize tax liability and optimize tax efficiency
- Provide guidance and support to internal stakeholders on tax-related matters
- Stay up to date on tax laws and regulations to ensure compliance and identify opportunities for tax savings
- Assist in the preparation of transfer pricing documentation and analysis
- Support the finance team in budgeting and forecasting tax expenses

Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
- Professional certification such as CPA, ACCA, or equivalent

- Strong knowledge of UAE tax laws and regulations
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
