Job Description:
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Technical Account Manager (TAM) to join our team in the pharmaceutical sector based in Sharjah. The ideal candidate will possess a strong technical background, excellent communication skills, and a passion for building long-term client relationships. As a TAM, you will serve as the primary point of contact for our clients, ensuring they receive maximum value from our products and services.
Key Responsibilities:
- Client Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong, long-lasting relationships with key clients in the pharmaceutical industry. Act as the main point of contact for technical inquiries and support.
- Technical Support: Provide expert guidance and assistance to clients regarding our pharmaceutical products, including their technical specifications, applications, and compliance requirements.
- Account Development: Identify opportunities for account growth and collaborate with clients to develop strategies that enhance their usage of our products and services.
- Training and Education: Conduct training sessions and workshops for clients to ensure effective utilization of our products. Develop educational materials and resources to support client learning.
- Problem Resolution: Proactively address and resolve any technical issues or challenges that clients may face. Collaborate with internal teams to ensure timely and effective solutions.
- Market Analysis: Stay informed about industry trends, competitive landscape, and regulatory changes in the pharmaceutical sector. Provide insights and feedback to the product development and sales teams.
- Documentation and Reporting: Maintain accurate records of client interactions, technical issues, and resolutions. Prepare regular reports on account status, project progress, and client satisfaction.
- Collaboration: Work closely with sales, product management, and marketing teams to align on client needs and ensure a cohesive approach to account management.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Life Sciences, Pharmacy, Chemistry, Engineering, or a related field.
- A minimum of 5 years of experience in a technical account management role within the pharmaceutical industry or a related field.
- Strong technical knowledge of pharmaceutical products, manufacturing processes, and regulatory standards.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to build rapport with clients.
- Proven problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to addressing client needs.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple accounts effectively.
- Proficiency in using CRM software and other technical tools.
- Willingness to travel occasionally to meet clients and attend industry events.
