Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Technical Operations Manager to join our dynamic team in Dubai. The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing the technical operations within our Information Technology department, ensuring the seamless functioning of all IT systems and services. This role involves managing a team of IT professionals, driving operational excellence, and implementing best practices to support our organizational goals.

Key Responsibilities:

- Team Leadership: Lead, mentor, and develop a team of IT specialists, fostering a collaborative and high-performance culture. Conduct regular performance reviews and provide coaching to enhance team capabilities.

- Operational Oversight: Oversee the day-to-day technical operations, ensuring all IT systems are running efficiently and securely. Monitor service levels and implement improvements where necessary.

- Project Management: Manage IT projects from inception to completion, including planning, execution, monitoring, and reporting. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure project objectives are met.

- Process Improvement: Identify and implement process improvements to enhance operational efficiency and effectiveness. Establish and maintain best practices for IT operations.

- Budget Management: Assist in the development and management of the IT budget, ensuring resources are allocated effectively to meet operational needs and strategic goals.

- Stakeholder Engagement: Act as a liaison between technical teams and other departments, ensuring alignment on goals and expectations. Communicate effectively with stakeholders at all levels of the organization.

- Incident Management: Oversee incident response and resolution processes, ensuring timely restoration of services and minimizing impact on business operations.

- Compliance and Security: Ensure that all IT operations comply with relevant regulations and standards. Implement security measures to protect the organization’s data and IT infrastructure.

- Vendor Management: Manage relationships with external vendors and service providers, negotiating contracts and ensuring they meet performance and service level agreements.

Qualifications:

- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- A minimum of 5 years of experience in IT operations management or a similar role.
- Strong understanding of IT infrastructure, including networks, servers, and cloud technologies.
- Proven experience in project management, with a track record of successfully delivering IT projects on time and within budget.
- Excellent leadership and team management skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a diverse team.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage with stakeholders at all levels.
- Knowledge of ITIL or other IT service management frameworks is a plus.
- Familiarity with cybersecurity principles and practices.
