Job Description:

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Toxicology Assistant to support our financial services team in Sharjah. The successful candidate will play a critical role in assessing and managing the risks associated with toxic substances and their implications on financial products and services. This entry-level position is ideal for individuals with a strong interest in toxicology, risk assessment, and financial services.

Key Responsibilities:

- Assist in the collection, analysis, and interpretation of toxicological data relevant to financial assessments.
- Conduct literature reviews and compile reports on toxicological findings and their potential impacts on investments and underwriting processes.
- Collaborate with financial analysts to evaluate the risk profiles of companies and products that may be exposed to toxic substances.
- Support the development of risk assessment frameworks and guidelines pertaining to toxicology within the context of financial services.
- Maintain accurate records of toxicological assessments and ensure compliance with regulatory standards.
- Participate in risk management meetings and provide input on toxicological issues affecting financial decisions.
- Assist in the preparation of presentations and documentation for internal and external stakeholders.
- Stay updated on the latest research and trends in toxicology and financial risk management.

Qualifications:

- Bachelor’s degree in Toxicology, Environmental Science, Chemistry, or a related field.
- A minimum of 2 years and a maximum of 6 years of relevant experience in toxicology, risk assessment, or a related area.
- Familiarity with financial services and an understanding of risk management principles is highly desirable.
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team environment.
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively.
