Job Description:

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Translator Assistant to join our dynamic team in the agriculture sector. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in supporting our translation efforts, ensuring that agricultural documents, reports, and communications are accurately translated and culturally relevant. Key Responsibilities:

- Assist in the translation of agricultural documents, including research papers, technical manuals, marketing materials, and regulatory documents, from [Source Language] to [Target Language] and vice versa.
- Collaborate with senior translators and project managers to ensure high-quality translations that meet deadlines and project specifications.
- Conduct terminology research and maintain a glossary of agricultural terms to ensure consistency across translations.
- Review and proofread translated materials for accuracy, grammar, and adherence to style guidelines.
- Support the management of translation projects by tracking progress, coordinating timelines, and communicating with team members and stakeholders.
- Attend meetings and contribute to discussions by providing language support and taking notes as required.
- Stay updated on industry trends, agricultural terminology, and relevant cultural nuances that may impact translation projects.
- Assist in the preparation of bilingual presentations and reports for internal and external stakeholders.

Qualifications:

- Bachelor’s degree in Translation, Linguistics, Agriculture, or a related field.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in translation or language support, preferably within the agriculture sector.
- Proficiency in [Source Language] and [Target Language], with exceptional written and verbal communication skills in both.
- Familiarity with agricultural terminology and concepts is highly desirable.
