Job Summary:
We are seeking a knowledgeable and enthusiastic Travel Consultant to join our team, specializing in the agriculture sector. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of agricultural practices, trends, and logistics, as well as a passion for travel and customer service. This role will involve assisting clients in planning and organizing agricultural trips, including farm visits, agricultural conferences, trade shows, and study tours, primarily within the UAE and other agricultural hubs around the world.

Key Responsibilities:

- Client Consultation:
Engage with clients to understand their travel needs, preferences, and objectives related to agricultural travel. Provide expert advice and recommendations based on current agricultural trends and practices.

- Trip Planning and Coordination:
Develop detailed travel itineraries that include transportation, accommodation, and activities related to agriculture. Ensure that all arrangements meet the specific needs of the client, including any special requests.

- Research and Networking:
Conduct thorough research on agricultural destinations, events, and educational opportunities. Build and maintain relationships with local agricultural businesses, organizations, and service providers to enhance travel experiences.

- Budget Management:
Prepare cost estimates for proposed travel plans, ensuring that they align with client budgets. Provide options for cost-effective travel solutions while maintaining quality experiences.

- Logistics Management:
Coordinate logistics for travel, including flights, ground transportation, accommodation, and meals. Ensure timely confirmations and effective communication with all parties involved.

- Client Support:
Provide ongoing support to clients before, during, and after their trips. Address any issues or concerns that may arise and work to ensure customer satisfaction.

- Market Awareness:
Stay informed about the latest developments in the agriculture sector, including innovations, challenges, and opportunities. Share insights with clients to enhance their travel experiences.

- Sales and Marketing:
Assist in promoting agricultural travel services through various marketing channels. Participate in trade shows and other events to increase visibility and attract potential clients.

Qualifications:

- Bachelor’s degree in Agriculture, Hospitality Management, Tourism, or a related field.
- A minimum of 3 to 7 years of experience in travel consulting, preferably with a focus on agriculture or related industries.
- Strong knowledge of agricultural practices, trends, and travel logistics.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with clients and stakeholders.
- Proficiency in travel planning software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
