### Job Summary:

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Ultrasound Technician Assistant to join our dynamic team in Dubai's pharmaceutical sector. The successful candidate will support our ultrasound technicians in delivering high-quality imaging services, ensuring patient comfort, and maintaining equipment in accordance with industry standards. This role is crucial for assisting in diagnostic procedures that aid in pharmaceutical research and development.

### Key Responsibilities:

- Assist ultrasound technicians in performing ultrasound procedures, including but not limited to abdominal, obstetric, gynecological, and vascular examinations.
- Prepare patients for ultrasound exams by explaining procedures, answering questions, and positioning them appropriately for optimal imaging.
- Ensure all ultrasound equipment is properly maintained, calibrated, and ready for use, conducting routine checks and reporting any malfunctions.
- Prepare and maintain accurate patient records, documenting procedures and results in accordance with regulatory requirements and company policies.
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals, including radiologists and physicians, to ensure accurate diagnosis and treatment planning.
- Follow strict hygiene and safety protocols to maintain a clean and safe working environment for patients and staff.
- Assist in managing inventory of ultrasound supplies, ensuring that all necessary materials are stocked and available.
- Participate in continuous professional development and training opportunities to enhance skills and knowledge in ultrasound technology and patient care.
- Provide exceptional patient care by demonstrating empathy, compassion, and professionalism throughout the examination process.

### Qualifications:

- Diploma or certificate in Ultrasound Technology or a related field.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience as an Ultrasound Technician Assistant or in a related role within a healthcare or pharmaceutical environment.
- Knowledge of ultrasound equipment and imaging techniques, as well as an understanding of anatomy and physiology.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to interact effectively with patients, families, and healthcare professionals.
- Attention to detail and strong organizational skills to manage multiple tasks efficiently.
- Familiarity with healthcare regulations and standards in the UAE, particularly related to imaging and patient care.
- Proficiency in using electronic health record (EHR) systems and other relevant software applications.
