Job Summary:
We are seeking a meticulous and detail-oriented Vehicle Inspector to join our healthcare team in Abu Dhabi. The successful candidate will be responsible for inspecting and ensuring the safety, functionality, and compliance of vehicles used within the healthcare sector. This role is crucial in maintaining the quality of transportation services for patients, staff, and medical equipment, ultimately contributing to the overall efficiency and reliability of healthcare delivery.

Key Responsibilities:

- Conduct thorough inspections of healthcare vehicles to ensure they meet safety and operational standards, including but not limited to ambulances, patient transport vehicles, and medical supply delivery vehicles.
- Perform routine maintenance checks and assessments, identifying any mechanical failures or safety hazards.
- Document inspection findings and prepare detailed reports on vehicle conditions, including recommendations for repairs or maintenance.
- Ensure compliance with local and federal regulations regarding vehicle safety and healthcare transportation standards.
- Collaborate with maintenance teams to schedule necessary repairs and maintenance work, ensuring minimal disruption to healthcare services.
- Maintain an organized database of vehicle inspection records, maintenance schedules, and compliance documentation.
- Provide training and guidance to staff on proper vehicle usage and safety protocols.
- Stay updated on industry best practices, regulations, and technological advancements related to vehicle inspection and healthcare transportation.
- Assist in the development and implementation of vehicle inspection policies and procedures.
- Participate in emergency response drills and training sessions to ensure readiness for any vehicle-related incidents.

Qualifications:

- Bachelor’s degree in Automotive Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field (preferred).
- A minimum of 3 years of experience in vehicle inspection, maintenance, or a related field.
- Knowledge of vehicle safety standards, regulations, and healthcare transportation requirements.
- Strong analytical skills with a keen eye for detail and problem-solving abilities.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
- Proficiency in using diagnostic tools and software for vehicle inspections.
- Valid UAE driver’s license is required.

Desired Skills:

- Certification in vehicle inspection or maintenance (e.g., ASE, IMI, or equivalent) is a plus.
- Familiarity with healthcare operations and the importance of timely and safe transportation.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while managing multiple priorities.
