Job Description:

We are looking for a dedicated and skilled Vineyard Worker with a focus on Information Technology to join our innovative team in Dubai. This unique position combines traditional vineyard management with modern technology solutions to enhance our agricultural practices. The ideal candidate will possess a blend of agricultural knowledge and technical expertise to optimize vineyard operations.

Key Responsibilities:

- Vineyard Management:
- Assist in the day-to-day operations of the vineyard, including planting, pruning, and harvesting grapes.
- Monitor vine health and growth, ensuring optimal conditions for vine development.
- Implement sustainable vineyard practices and contribute to environmentally friendly initiatives.

- Technical Support:
- Utilize technology to monitor vineyard conditions, including soil moisture, temperature, and humidity levels.
- Maintain and troubleshoot vineyard management software and hardware systems.
- Collaborate with the IT team to develop and deploy data-driven strategies for vineyard optimization.

- Data Analysis:
- Collect and analyze data related to vineyard performance, including yield, quality, and environmental factors.
- Generate reports and provide insights to management based on data analysis.
- Assist in the implementation of precision agriculture techniques through the use of drones and IoT devices.

- Collaboration and Communication:
- Work closely with agricultural specialists, IT professionals, and other team members to enhance vineyard productivity.
- Participate in training sessions to educate staff on the use of technology in vineyard management.
- Communicate effectively with stakeholders about vineyard status and technology-related updates.

- Research and Development:
- Stay updated on the latest trends in both viticulture and agricultural technology.
- Assist in research initiatives to explore new technologies that can improve vineyard efficiency and sustainability.
- Contribute to the development of best practices for integrating IT solutions in vineyard operations.

Qualifications:

- Bachelor’s degree in Agriculture, Horticulture, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in vineyard management or agricultural technology.
- Strong understanding of vineyard practices and the application of technology in agriculture.
- Proficient in the use of vineyard management software and data analysis tools.
- Basic knowledge of IoT devices and their application in agriculture is a plus.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, in English.
