Job Summary:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Warehouse Manager Assistant to support the operations of our warehouse in the Aerospace and Defense sector. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of warehouse management systems and possess excellent organizational skills. This role requires a hands-on approach to assist in managing inventory, coordinating shipments, and ensuring compliance with safety and quality standards.

Key Responsibilities:
- Inventory Management:
- Assist in monitoring and maintaining accurate inventory levels.
- Conduct regular stock audits to ensure inventory accuracy and compliance with company standards.
- Support the Warehouse Manager in implementing inventory control procedures.
- Shipping and Receiving:
- Help coordinate the inbound and outbound shipping processes, ensuring timely delivery of materials and products.
- Verify incoming shipments against purchase orders and inspect for damage or discrepancies.
- Prepare shipping documentation and ensure compliance with relevant regulations in the Aerospace and Defense industry.
- Warehouse Operations:
- Assist in organizing the warehouse layout to optimize space and improve workflow.
- Support the Warehouse Manager in supervising warehouse staff, providing training, and fostering a safe working environment.
- Participate in the implementation of best practices for warehouse operations, including lean principles and safety protocols.
- Reporting and Documentation:
- Maintain accurate records of inventory transactions, shipments, and receipts.
- Generate reports on inventory levels, shipment status, and operational efficiency as required.
- Assist in the development and maintenance of standard operating procedures (SOPs) for warehouse activities.
- Safety and Compliance:
- Ensure compliance with all safety regulations and industry standards in the warehouse.
- Assist in conducting safety training sessions and maintaining safety equipment.
- Report any safety hazards or compliance issues to the Warehouse Manager promptly.

Qualifications:
- Education:
- Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or a related field is preferred, but not mandatory.
- Experience:
- Minimum of 3 to 5 years of experience in warehouse operations, preferably in the Aerospace and Defense sector.
- Skills:
- Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
- Proficient in warehouse management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple priorities.
- Personal Attributes:
- Detail-oriented and committed to accuracy.
- Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to challenges.
- Ability to work collaboratively within a team and independently.

Physical Requirements:
- Ability to lift and move heavy items (up to 25 kg) as needed.
- Comfortable working in a warehouse environment, including standing for extended periods and operating warehouse equipment.
