Job Description:

We are seeking a highly motivated and skilled Water Resources Engineer with a focus on Information Technology to join our team in Al Ain. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in water resource management, hydraulic modeling, and data analysis, combined with a passion for leveraging technology to improve water management systems. This role offers an exciting opportunity to work on innovative projects that enhance the efficiency and sustainability of water resources.

Key Responsibilities:

- Water Resource Management: Develop and implement effective water resource management strategies, ensuring compliance with local regulations and environmental standards.

- Hydraulic Modeling: Utilize advanced hydraulic modeling software to simulate and analyze water flow systems, including surface water and groundwater interactions.

- Data Analysis: Collect, analyze, and interpret hydrological data to support decision-making processes. Generate comprehensive reports and visualizations to communicate findings to stakeholders.

- System Integration: Collaborate with IT professionals to design and implement integrated water management systems, incorporating GIS, remote sensing, and real-time monitoring technologies.

- Project Management: Lead and participate in multidisciplinary projects, ensuring timely completion within budget constraints. Coordinate with various stakeholders, including government agencies, contractors, and community groups.

- Technical Support: Provide technical guidance and support to junior engineers and interns. Conduct training sessions on water management tools and technologies.

- Research and Development: Stay updated on the latest advancements in water resource engineering and information technology. Contribute to research initiatives aimed at improving water management practices.

Qualifications:

- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Environmental Engineering, Water Resources Engineering, or a related field. A Master’s degree is preferred.
- A minimum of 4 years and a maximum of 7 years of relevant experience in water resources engineering or a related discipline.
- Proficiency in hydraulic modeling software (e.g., HEC-RAS, SWMM, or similar) and GIS applications (e.g., ArcGIS).
- Strong analytical skills, with the ability to interpret complex data and make informed decisions.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with team members and stakeholders.
- Knowledge of local water regulations and environmental policies in the UAE is an advantage.
