Overview:
We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Web Analytics Specialist to join our dynamic team in the Transportation and Logistics sector. This role is pivotal in enhancing our digital strategy by leveraging data-driven insights to optimize our online presence and improve user experience. The ideal candidate will have a passion for analytics, an understanding of web technologies, and the ability to translate complex data into actionable strategies.
Key Responsibilities:
- Data Collection & Analysis: Implement and manage web analytics tools (e.g., Google Analytics, Adobe Analytics) to track and analyze website performance, user behavior, and key performance indicators (KPIs) related to transportation and logistics services.
- Reporting & Insights: Create comprehensive reports and dashboards that provide insights into website traffic, conversion rates, user engagement, and other metrics. Present findings to stakeholders and recommend data-driven strategies for improvement.
- A/B Testing & Experimentation: Design and execute A/B tests to evaluate website changes, marketing campaigns, and customer experience enhancements. Analyze results and provide actionable recommendations based on findings.
- Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including Marketing, IT, and Customer Service, to ensure alignment on goals, strategies, and tactics that drive traffic and conversions.
- SEO & SEM Optimization: Collaborate with the digital marketing team to optimize website content for search engines (SEO) and support paid search strategies (SEM) to improve visibility and attract relevant traffic.
- User Journey Mapping: Analyze and map user journeys to identify pain points and opportunities for improvement in the customer experience across digital platforms.
- Technical Support: Provide technical support for web analytics tools, ensuring data accuracy and integrity. Troubleshoot any issues related to tracking and reporting.
- Industry Trends: Stay updated on the latest trends and best practices in web analytics, digital marketing, and the transportation and logistics industry to continuously enhance our analytics capabilities.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, Data Analytics, or a related field.
- 3 to 5 years of experience in web analytics, digital marketing, or a related role, preferably in the transportation and logistics sector.
- Proficiency in web analytics tools such as Google Analytics, Adobe Analytics, and tag management solutions.
- Strong understanding of web technologies, including HTML, CSS, and JavaScript, as they relate to analytics tracking.
- Familiarity with SEO and SEM principles and practices.
- Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data sets and communicate findings effectively.
- Strong attention to detail and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
- Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to present data-driven insights to non-technical stakeholders.
