Job Description:

We are seeking a highly motivated and skilled Wind Turbine Engineer to join our dynamic team in Dubai within the Aerospace and Defense sector. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in the design, development, and optimization of wind turbine systems, ensuring they meet the highest standards of performance, safety, and efficiency. Key Responsibilities:

1. Design and Development:
- Engage in the design and analysis of wind turbine components, including rotor blades, gearboxes, and control systems.
- Utilize computer-aided design (CAD) software and simulation tools to create and refine wind turbine models.

2. Performance Analysis:
- Conduct performance assessments and simulations to evaluate the efficiency and reliability of wind turbine systems.
- Analyze data from field tests and operational turbines, making recommendations for improvements.

3. Project Management:
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including mechanical, electrical, and software engineers, to ensure project milestones are met.
- Prepare project documentation, including specifications, reports, and presentations for stakeholders.

4. Research and Innovation:
- Stay updated on the latest advancements in wind turbine technology and renewable energy practices.
- Participate in research initiatives to explore new materials and technologies that enhance turbine performance.

5. Compliance and Safety:
- Ensure all designs and implementations comply with industry standards, regulations, and safety protocols.
- Conduct risk assessments and develop mitigation strategies for identified hazards.

6. Technical Support:
- Provide technical support and expertise to installation and maintenance teams for troubleshooting and resolving operational issues.
- Train personnel on the operation and maintenance of wind turbine systems.

Qualifications:

- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, Renewable Energy, or a related field.
- 3-7 years of experience in wind turbine engineering or a related area within the aerospace or defense sectors.
- Strong knowledge of wind turbine design principles and aerodynamics.
- Proficiency in CAD software (e.g., SolidWorks, AutoCAD) and simulation tools (e.g., ANSYS, MATLAB).
- Familiarity with industry standards and regulations related to wind energy systems.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, to liaise with team members and stakeholders.

Preferred Skills:

- Experience with offshore wind turbine systems.
- Knowledge of control systems and power electronics related to wind energy.
- Understanding of project management methodologies and tools.
