### Job Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Youth Counselor to join our team in Dubai, specializing in the pharmaceutical sector. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing support, guidance, and counseling to young individuals facing various challenges, including mental health, substance use, and educational issues. This position requires a strong understanding of youth development, effective communication skills, and the ability to work collaboratively with families, educational institutions, and healthcare providers.

### Key Responsibilities

- Counseling and Support: Provide individual and group counseling sessions to youth, helping them navigate personal, social, and academic challenges.
- Assessment and Evaluation: Conduct assessments to identify the needs of youth and develop personalized intervention plans.
- Crisis Intervention: Respond to crisis situations involving youth, offering immediate support and intervention strategies.
- Education and Awareness: Develop and deliver educational workshops and seminars on mental health, substance abuse prevention, and healthy lifestyle choices.
- Collaboration: Work closely with parents, teachers, and healthcare professionals to ensure a holistic approach to youth support and development.
- Documentation: Maintain accurate and confidential records of counseling sessions, assessments, and progress reports in accordance with regulatory standards and company policies.
- Resource Development: Create and distribute educational materials and resources to help youth and their families access necessary services and support.
- Advocacy: Advocate for the needs and rights of youth within the community and collaborate with local organizations to promote awareness and access to mental health services.
- Continuous Improvement: Stay updated on best practices in youth counseling and pharmaceuticals, participating in professional development opportunities as needed.

### Qualifications

- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Psychology, Social Work, Counseling, or a related field. A Master’s degree is preferred.
- Experience: Minimum of 3 years and maximum of 7 years of experience in youth counseling, mental health support, or related fields, preferably within a pharmaceutical or healthcare setting.
- Licensure: Valid certification or licensure as a counselor or therapist in accordance with UAE regulations.
- Skills:
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong problem-solving abilities and critical thinking skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a multicultural environment.
- Knowledge of youth development theories and counseling techniques.
- Proficiency in using technology for documentation and communication.
