Position Overview:
We are seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated Youth Programs Manager to lead our initiatives focused on engaging youth in the healthcare sector. This position will play a pivotal role in designing, implementing, and managing programs that promote health awareness, education, and community engagement among young people in Ras Al Khaimah. The ideal candidate will possess a blend of leadership, strategic planning, and community outreach skills to foster positive health behaviors and empower youth.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Program Development and Management:
- Design and implement innovative youth programs aimed at promoting health education and awareness in the community.
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure program content is accurate, relevant, and engaging for young audiences.
- Monitor and evaluate program effectiveness, making necessary adjustments based on feedback and outcomes.

2. Community Engagement:
- Build and maintain partnerships with schools, community organizations, and healthcare institutions to facilitate program outreach and collaboration.
- Organize workshops, seminars, and health fairs to engage youth and families in health-related topics.
- Develop marketing strategies to promote programs through social media, local events, and community networks.

3. Team Leadership:
- Supervise and mentor program staff, volunteers, and interns, fostering a collaborative and productive work environment.
- Provide training and resources to staff to enhance their effectiveness in program delivery and community engagement.

4. Administrative Duties:
- Prepare and manage program budgets, ensuring effective allocation of resources.
- Maintain accurate records of program activities, participant data, and financial transactions.
- Report regularly to senior management on program progress, challenges, and opportunities.

5. Advocacy and Awareness:
- Advocate for youth health issues within the community and at health policy discussions.
- Create and distribute educational materials that resonate with youth, focusing on topics such as mental health, nutrition, physical activity, and preventive care.

Qualifications:

- Bachelor’s degree in Public Health, Education, Social Work, or a related field. A Master’s degree is a plus.
- A minimum of 5 years of experience in program management or youth engagement, preferably in the healthcare sector.
- Strong understanding of youth development principles and health promotion strategies.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage effectively with diverse audiences.
- Proven ability to work collaboratively with community stakeholders and build strong relationships.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.

Skills:

- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and program management software.
- Familiarity with social media platforms and digital marketing strategies for outreach.
- Bilingual skills (Arabic and English) are preferred.

Working Conditions:
This position may require occasional evening and weekend hours for community events and workshops. The Youth Programs Manager will work primarily in an office environment with frequent travel to community sites around Ras Al Khaimah.
