Job Description:

We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Zoologist Assistant to join our dynamic team in Dubai's financial services sector. This unique position blends the fields of zoology and finance, providing a rare opportunity to contribute to wildlife conservation projects while navigating the financial implications and funding opportunities associated with them.

Key Responsibilities:

- Assist senior zoologists in conducting research and field studies on various animal species, focusing on their behaviors, habitats, and conservation needs.
- Collect, record, and analyze data from fieldwork and laboratory studies, ensuring accuracy and attention to detail.
- Prepare reports and presentations based on research findings, detailing the financial requirements and implications of conservation initiatives.
- Collaborate with financial analysts to develop budgets and funding proposals for wildlife conservation projects.
- Participate in the development and execution of educational programs aimed at promoting awareness of wildlife preservation and the financial aspects involved.
- Support the organization and management of workshops, seminars, and outreach programs designed to engage stakeholders in wildlife conservation efforts.
- Maintain and organize biological specimens, ensuring proper labeling and cataloging for research purposes.
- Assist with the preparation of grant applications and funding proposals to secure financial resources for ongoing projects.
- Stay updated on the latest trends and developments in both zoology and financial services that may impact wildlife conservation efforts.

Qualifications:

- Bachelor’s degree in Zoology, Biology, Environmental Science, or a related field.
- A minimum of 2 years of relevant experience in zoological research or wildlife conservation is required.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data and provide insights related to financial implications.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to convey scientific information to non-specialist audiences.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, data analysis software, and statistical tools.
- Experience in preparing grant applications and managing budgets is a plus.
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while meeting deadlines.
