Job Description:

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Assistant Baker to join our dynamic team within the pharmaceutical sector in Dubai. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in supporting the baking process of our specialized pharmaceutical products, ensuring the highest standards of quality, safety, and compliance are maintained throughout production.

Key Responsibilities:

- Assist in the preparation and baking of pharmaceutical baked goods, following strict formulations and recipes tailored for specific therapeutic needs.
- Ensure that all baking equipment and tools are properly maintained, cleaned, and sanitized in accordance with health and safety regulations.
- Collaborate with the lead baker to monitor ingredient inventory and assist in ordering raw materials when necessary.
- Support the implementation of Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and adhere to Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) to maintain product integrity and safety.
- Conduct quality control inspections of all baked products, ensuring they meet company specifications and regulatory standards.
- Assist in the documentation of production processes, including batch records and quality logs, for compliance and traceability purposes.
- Participate in training sessions and workshops to enhance baking techniques and knowledge of pharmaceutical baking processes.
- Work collaboratively with team members to optimize baking processes and improve efficiency in the production line.
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace to promote a safe and productive environment.

Qualifications:

- High school diploma or equivalent; culinary school certification or specialized training in baking or pastry arts is preferred.
- A minimum of 2 to 5 years of experience in a baking or culinary role, preferably within the pharmaceuticals or food manufacturing industry.
- Knowledge of GMP and food safety regulations is highly desirable.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow precise instructions and recipes.
- Excellent time management skills and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work well in a team.
- Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and holidays if needed.
