Job Overview:

We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Billing Operations Manager to oversee and manage our billing processes in the retail sector. The ideal candidate will possess strong analytical skills, a deep understanding of billing systems, and a passion for improving operational efficiency. This role requires an individual who can lead a team, manage relationships with external partners, and ensure compliance with financial regulations while supporting the overall objectives of our retail business.

Key Responsibilities:

- Billing Process Management: Oversee all aspects of billing operations, including invoicing, collections, and reconciliations. Ensure timely and accurate processing of invoices and payments in accordance with company policies.

- Team Leadership: Lead, mentor, and develop a team of billing specialists. Foster a collaborative environment that encourages professional growth and continuous improvement.

- System Optimization: Evaluate current billing systems and processes; implement enhancements to improve efficiency and accuracy. Collaborate with IT and other departments to ensure that systems meet business needs.

- Data Analysis and Reporting: Generate and analyze billing reports to identify trends, discrepancies, and opportunities for improvement. Present findings to senior management to support strategic decision-making.

- Customer Relations: Serve as the primary point of contact for billing inquiries from customers. Address and resolve any issues or disputes related to billing promptly and professionally.

- Compliance and Auditing: Ensure all billing practices comply with relevant regulations and internal policies. Participate in audits and assist in the implementation of any required changes.

- Collaboration: Work closely with finance, sales, and inventory teams to ensure alignment and accuracy in billing operations. Maintain effective communication channels across departments.

- Training and Development: Develop training materials and conduct workshops for team members to enhance their knowledge of billing processes and tools.

Qualifications:

- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field.
- 5 to 8 years of relevant experience in billing operations, preferably in the retail sector.
- Strong understanding of billing systems and financial regulations.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Proven leadership abilities with experience managing and developing teams.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and billing software (experience with ERP systems is a plus).
- Fluent in English; proficiency in Arabic is an advantage.
