We are seeking a skilled and experienced Butcher to join our pharmaceutical company in Abu Dhabi. The ideal candidate will have a passion for preparing high-quality meats and ensuring the highest standards of food safety and hygiene are maintained at all times.
Responsibilities:
- Prepare meats for packaging and distribution according to company standards
- Cut, trim, and portion meats as required
- Ensure all meats are stored and handled properly to prevent contamination
- Maintain a clean and organized work area
- Assist in inventory management and stock rotation
- Adhere to all food safety and hygiene regulations
- Provide excellent customer service and assist customers with meat selection and preparation tips
- Work closely with other team members to ensure smooth operations in the butchery department
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Butcher or similar role
- Knowledge of different cuts of meat and proper meat handling techniques
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Flexibility to work on weekends and holidays as needed
Preferred Qualifications:
- Certification in meat cutting or a related field
- Experience working in a pharmaceutical or healthcare setting
