Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled and motivated Cardiac Technician with a strong background in Information Technology to join our dynamic healthcare team in Abu Dhabi. The ideal candidate will be responsible for operating and maintaining advanced cardiac monitoring equipment, analyzing data, and providing technological support in a clinical setting. This role requires a blend of technical expertise and clinical knowledge to ensure optimal patient care and safety.

Key Responsibilities:

- Operate and maintain cardiac diagnostic equipment, including electrocardiograms (ECGs), Holter monitors, and stress testing machines.
- Collaborate with cardiologists and healthcare professionals to interpret cardiac data and provide recommendations for patient management.
- Ensure the proper functioning of cardiac monitoring systems, troubleshoot issues, and implement necessary repairs or upgrades.
- Assist in the development and execution of cardiac monitoring protocols and procedures in accordance with clinical guidelines and standards.
- Maintain patient records and documentation in compliance with healthcare regulations and standards, ensuring confidentiality and data integrity.
- Train and support healthcare staff on the use of cardiac technology and equipment, providing guidance on best practices.
- Participate in quality assurance and performance improvement initiatives related to cardiac services.
- Stay updated with the latest advancements in cardiac technology and information systems, incorporating new techniques and tools as appropriate.
- Conduct regular maintenance checks and calibration of cardiac monitoring devices to ensure accuracy and reliability.
- Assist in the implementation of electronic health record (EHR) systems and other IT applications related to cardiac care.

Qualifications:

- Bachelor’s degree in Cardiac Technology, Biomedical Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Minimum of 3 to 5 years of experience in a healthcare setting, specifically in cardiac technology or related IT roles.
- Strong knowledge of cardiac physiology, diagnostic procedures, and the operation of cardiac monitoring equipment.
- Proficient in using healthcare information systems and EHR software, with a strong emphasis on data management and analysis.
- Excellent problem-solving skills, with the ability to troubleshoot and resolve technical issues in a timely manner.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with healthcare professionals and patients.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, managing multiple tasks and priorities.
- Certification in Cardiac Technology or relevant IT certifications is a plus.
