Job Description:

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Cell Biologist to join our innovative team in Dubai’s dynamic Consumer Goods sector. This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to cutting-edge research and development projects that aim to enhance the quality and efficacy of our products. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in cell biology, with a passion for applying scientific knowledge to real-world applications.

Key Responsibilities:

- Conduct research on cell cultures, cellular signaling pathways, and the interactions of cells with various materials and compounds relevant to consumer goods.
- Design and execute experiments to assess the biological effects of ingredients and formulations on cell health and function.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including R&D, product development, and quality assurance, to integrate biological insights into product formulation and design.
- Analyze and interpret experimental data, and communicate findings through reports, presentations, and discussions with stakeholders.
- Stay current with scientific literature and advancements in cell biology and related fields, and apply this knowledge to drive innovation within the organization.
- Ensure compliance with all safety and regulatory standards in laboratory practices.
- Mentor junior scientists and provide training on laboratory techniques and best practices.

Qualifications:

- Master’s degree in Cell Biology, Molecular Biology, Biotechnology, or a related field; a Ph.D. is a plus.
- A minimum of 3 to 7 years of relevant experience in a laboratory setting, preferably within the consumer goods, pharmaceutical, or biotechnology industries.
- Proficiency in cell culture techniques, microscopy, flow cytometry, and molecular biology techniques (e.g., PCR, Western blotting).
- Strong analytical skills and experience with data analysis software.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present complex information clearly and effectively.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong problem-solving skills and a creative approach to experimental design.
