We are seeking a highly experienced and qualified Chief Accounting Officer (CAO) to join our construction company based in Dubai. The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing all financial and accounting activities within the organization, ensuring compliance with local regulations and best practices.

Key Responsibilities:
1. Develop and implement financial strategies to support the company's growth and profitability goals.
2. Manage the day-to-day accounting operations, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, and general ledger activities.
3. Prepare and analyze financial reports, budgets, and forecasts to provide insights and recommendations to senior management.
4. Monitor and enforce internal controls to safeguard company assets and ensure accuracy of financial data.
5. Collaborate with external auditors and tax consultants to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and timely submission of financial statements.
6. Lead and mentor the accounting team, providing guidance and support to ensure high performance and professional development.
7. Evaluate and recommend improvements to accounting systems and processes to enhance efficiency and accuracy.
8. Stay abreast of changes in accounting standards and regulations to ensure the company's practices are up-to-date and in compliance.

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field. CPA or ACCA certification is preferred.
- Minimum of 8 years of experience in accounting and finance roles, with at least 3 years in a senior management position.
- Strong knowledge of IFRS and UAE accounting standards.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Proven leadership abilities with a track record of successfully managing a team.
- Advanced proficiency in accounting software and MS Excel.
- Ability to work well under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
