Job Description:

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Communications Operations Program Manager to join our team in Abu Dhabi within the energy sector. This role is pivotal in driving communication strategies and ensuring the seamless execution of operational programs that align with our organizational goals. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in communications, project management, and stakeholder engagement within the energy industry.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Strategic Communication Planning:
- Develop and implement comprehensive communication strategies that support organizational objectives and enhance stakeholder engagement.
- Collaborate with senior leadership to identify key messages and communication priorities.

2. Program Management:
- Oversee the planning, execution, and evaluation of communications programs and initiatives related to energy projects.
- Utilize project management methodologies to ensure timely delivery of communications initiatives while adhering to budget constraints.

3. Stakeholder Engagement:
- Build and maintain relationships with internal and external stakeholders, including government entities, industry partners, and community organizations.
- Facilitate stakeholder meetings, workshops, and consultations to gather insights and feedback on communication strategies.

4. Content Development:
- Lead the creation of compelling content for various communication channels, including press releases, newsletters, social media, and internal communications.
- Ensure all communications materials align with the company’s branding and messaging guidelines.

5. Crisis Communication:
- Develop and implement crisis communication plans to manage potential risks and issues in a timely manner.
- Act as a point of contact for media inquiries and effectively represent the organization during crisis situations.

6. Monitoring and Reporting:
- Track and analyze the effectiveness of communication initiatives and provide regular reports to senior management.
- Utilize data and feedback to continuously improve communication strategies and operations.

7. Team Leadership:
- Mentor and lead a team of communication professionals, fostering a culture of collaboration and innovation.
- Facilitate training and development opportunities to enhance team skills and knowledge.

Qualifications:

- Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Public Relations, Marketing, or a related field. A Master’s degree is a plus.
- 5 to 7 years of experience in communications, preferably within the energy sector.
- Proven experience in program management, with a track record of successfully delivering communications initiatives.
- Strong understanding of communication principles, media relations, and stakeholder engagement strategies.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English; proficiency in Arabic is a plus.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail.
- Proficient in communication and project management tools.
