Job Description:

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Computer Systems Analyst to join our dynamic team in the retail sector based in Al Ain. The ideal candidate will be responsible for analyzing and improving our computer systems and processes to enhance efficiency and productivity across our retail operations.

Key Responsibilities:

- Systems Analysis: Evaluate current computer systems and processes to identify areas for improvement. Gather requirements from stakeholders to design better systems tailored to the retail environment.

- Project Management: Lead and participate in system implementation projects, ensuring that timelines, budgets, and specifications are met. Coordinate with cross-functional teams to facilitate seamless integration of new systems.

- Data Management: Analyze data and generate reports to support decision-making processes. Ensure data integrity and security by implementing appropriate measures.

- User Support and Training: Provide training and support to retail staff on new systems and technologies. Act as a point of contact for system-related issues and troubleshoot as necessary.

- Documentation: Create and maintain comprehensive documentation of system configurations, procedures, and user manuals. Ensure that all documentation is up to date and accessible.

- Stay Updated: Keep abreast of the latest technologies and trends in retail systems and software. Recommend solutions that leverage emerging technologies to improve business operations.

- Collaboration: Work closely with IT teams, vendors, and third-party service providers to ensure system compatibility and optimal performance.

Qualifications:

- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Minimum of 3 years and a maximum of 7 years of experience as a Computer Systems Analyst or in a similar role, preferably in the retail industry.
- Strong understanding of retail management systems, point of sale (POS) systems, and inventory management software.
- Proficient in system analysis methodologies, data modeling, and business process design.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse teams and stakeholders.
- Knowledge of programming languages and database management is a plus.
