Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Contract Specialist to join our dynamic team in the agriculture sector based in Dubai. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in managing and overseeing all aspects of contract development, negotiation, and administration, ensuring compliance with legal standards and alignment with organizational objectives.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Contract Development and Negotiation:
- Draft, review, and negotiate a wide range of contracts, including supplier agreements, service contracts, and procurement contracts related to agricultural products and services.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to understand their needs and provide guidance on contractual obligations and terms.

2. Compliance and Risk Management:
- Ensure that all contracts comply with local, regional, and international laws and regulations pertinent to the agriculture industry.
- Identify potential risks associated with contractual agreements and propose mitigation strategies.

3. Contract Administration:
- Maintain comprehensive records of all contracts and ensure they are easily accessible for review and audit purposes.
- Monitor contract performance and compliance, ensuring that all parties adhere to the terms and conditions agreed upon.

4. Stakeholder Collaboration:
- Liaise with legal counsel, procurement teams, and project managers to facilitate contract execution and resolve any disputes that may arise.
- Provide training and support to staff on contract management processes and best practices.

5. Market Research and Analysis:
- Conduct market research to stay informed about industry trends, pricing structures, and competitive landscapes to support contract negotiations.
- Analyze contract data and performance metrics to inform future contract strategies.

6. Reporting:
- Prepare and present reports on contract status, compliance, and performance to senior management and other stakeholders.
- Recommend improvements to contract processes and policies based on analysis and stakeholder feedback.

Qualifications:

- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Law, Agriculture, or a related field.
- A minimum of 5 years of professional experience in contract management, preferably within the agriculture sector.
- Strong knowledge of contract law and regulations applicable in the UAE and the agriculture industry.
- Excellent negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Proficient in contract management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
