Job Overview:

We are seeking an experienced and passionate Cultural Heritage Manager to join our dynamic team in the financial services sector in Abu Dhabi. The ideal candidate will play a pivotal role in promoting, preserving, and integrating cultural heritage within our organization, aligning our financial services with the rich traditions and historical context of the UAE. This role is instrumental in fostering cultural awareness and respect, ensuring that our business practices honor and reflect the diverse heritage of the region.

Key Responsibilities:

- Cultural Integration: Develop and implement strategies that integrate cultural heritage into our financial services offerings, ensuring that they resonate with local traditions and values.

- Stakeholder Engagement: Collaborate with internal teams, local communities, government bodies, and cultural organizations to promote cultural heritage initiatives and foster strong partnerships.

- Research and Documentation: Conduct thorough research on local cultural heritage, including historical sites, traditions, and practices. Document findings and create reports to inform company policies and initiatives.

- Cultural Programs: Design and oversee cultural programs and initiatives that promote awareness and appreciation of the UAE's heritage among employees and clients, including workshops, seminars, and community events.

- Policy Development: Contribute to the development of company policies regarding cultural heritage and ensure compliance with local laws and regulations related to cultural preservation.

- Education and Training: Develop training materials and conduct workshops for staff to enhance understanding and appreciation of cultural heritage, equipping them to better serve diverse clients.

- Monitoring and Evaluation: Establish metrics for assessing the effectiveness of cultural heritage initiatives and programs, regularly reporting on progress and making recommendations for improvement.

- Crisis Management: Assist in managing any cultural heritage-related crises, providing guidance on best practices and protocols to protect and promote cultural assets.

Qualifications:

- Bachelor’s degree in Cultural Heritage Management, Anthropology, History, or a related field. A Master’s degree is preferred.

- Minimum of 5 years of experience in cultural heritage management, community engagement, or a related area, preferably within the financial services sector.

- Demonstrated knowledge of UAE culture, history, and heritage, with a strong understanding of local customs and traditions.

- Proven experience in project management, with the ability to lead initiatives from conception to execution.

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage and collaborate with diverse stakeholders.

- Strong analytical and research skills, with attention to detail and the ability to synthesize complex information.

- Proficiency in Arabic is a plus, but not mandatory.
