Job Summary:

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Dental Hygienist to join our team in Abu Dhabi, specifically within the construction industry. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing high-quality dental hygiene services to our employees, ensuring that they maintain optimal oral health while working in a dynamic and sometimes challenging environment. This role requires a unique blend of dental expertise and an understanding of the specific needs of our workforce in the construction sector.

Key Responsibilities:

- Perform comprehensive dental hygiene assessments, including reviewing patient histories and conducting oral examinations.
- Provide preventive dental care, including cleanings, scaling, and polishing of teeth, as well as applying fluoride treatments and sealants.
- Educate employees about oral hygiene practices, the importance of oral health, and the impact of their working environment on their dental well-being.
- Collaborate with the dental team to develop and implement personalized oral care plans for employees, taking into account their unique occupational hazards.
- Maintain accurate patient records and documentation in compliance with regulatory standards and organizational policies.
- Assist in the management and organization of the dental clinic, including inventory control, equipment maintenance, and ensuring a clean and sterile work environment.
- Stay updated with the latest dental hygiene practices and technologies, as well as relevant health and safety regulations specific to the construction industry.
- Participate in health promotion and wellness initiatives, including workshops and seminars focused on oral health awareness among construction workers.
- Provide support and training for new staff members and assist in mentoring junior dental hygienists as necessary.

Qualifications:

- Bachelor’s degree in Dental Hygiene from an accredited institution.
- Valid dental hygienist license to practice in the United Arab Emirates.
- A minimum of 2 years of experience as a dental hygienist, preferably in a corporate or industrial setting.
- Strong understanding of dental hygiene principles, practices, and infection control protocols.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to educate and motivate employees.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
- Proficient in using dental software and technologies.
- Knowledge of the construction industry and its specific health and safety issues related to oral health is a plus.
