We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Desktop Publisher Assistant to join our construction team in Dubai. The ideal candidate will be responsible for assisting the Desktop Publisher in creating and designing various print and digital materials for our construction projects.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist the Desktop Publisher in formatting and designing construction-related documents, such as project proposals, reports, presentations, and marketing materials
- Use desktop publishing software to create visually appealing layouts and graphics
- Collaborate with project managers, architects, and other team members to gather content and ensure accuracy in all materials
- Maintain a consistent brand identity and style across all documents and materials
- Proofread and edit materials to ensure they meet quality standards and are error-free
- Assist in managing and organizing files and assets for easy access and retrieval
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Graphic Design, Visual Communications, or related field
- 2-5 years of experience in desktop publishing, graphic design, or a related role
- Proficiency in desktop publishing software, such as Adobe InDesign, Illustrator, and Photoshop
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
- Knowledge of construction terminology and industry trends is a plus
