Job Description:

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Diagnostic Medical Sonographer to join our dynamic team in the pharmaceutical sector in Dubai. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in the evaluation and diagnosis of patients through the use of ultrasound technology. This position requires an individual with a strong understanding of sonographic procedures, patient care, and a commitment to excellence in healthcare services.

Key Responsibilities:

- Perform a variety of ultrasound examinations, including but not limited to abdominal, pelvic, obstetric, and vascular sonography, ensuring high-quality imaging results.
- Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to discuss preliminary findings and assist in the formulation of diagnostic conclusions.
- Prepare and maintain accurate patient records, documenting sonographic findings and ensuring compliance with established protocols and standards.
- Educate patients about the procedure, addressing any concerns, and ensuring their comfort before, during, and after the ultrasound.
- Maintain and conduct routine maintenance of ultrasound equipment, reporting any malfunctions or issues to the appropriate personnel.
- Stay updated on the latest advancements in ultrasound technology and techniques, participating in continuous education and training as required.
- Adhere to safety protocols and maintain a sterile environment during procedures to ensure patient safety and comfort.
- Assist in the training and mentorship of junior sonographers and students as needed.

Qualifications:

- Bachelor’s degree in Diagnostic Medical Sonography or a related field from an accredited institution.
- Valid certification from a recognized professional organization (e.g., ARDMS, CCI).
- A minimum of 4 years of experience in diagnostic medical sonography, preferably in a clinical or pharmaceutical environment.
- Proficient in using ultrasound equipment and software, with a strong understanding of sonographic anatomy and physiology.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a compassionate approach to patient care.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team in a fast-paced environment.
- Knowledge of safety protocols and infection control procedures.
