Job Summary:
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Emergency Room Nurse with a strong emphasis on Information Technology to join our dynamic healthcare team in Abu Dhabi. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing high-quality, patient-centered care in the fast-paced environment of the emergency department while leveraging advanced technology to enhance patient outcomes and streamline operations.

Key Responsibilities:
- Provide immediate and comprehensive nursing care to patients in the emergency department, assessing their condition and implementing appropriate interventions.
- Utilize electronic health records (EHR) and other health IT systems to document patient information, treatment plans, and outcomes accurately and efficiently.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including physicians, specialists, and IT professionals, to ensure optimal patient care and the effective use of technology in the emergency setting.
- Monitor and interpret vital signs, laboratory results, and diagnostic imaging to make informed decisions about patient care.
- Participate in the development and implementation of IT solutions that improve workflow efficiency, communication, and patient safety within the emergency department.
- Educate patients and their families about health conditions, treatment options, and the use of health technology tools.
- Maintain compliance with local regulations, organizational policies, and best practices in both nursing and IT applications.
- Participate in ongoing education and training related to emergency nursing and healthcare technology advancements.
- Actively contribute to quality improvement initiatives aimed at enhancing patient care services and outcomes.

Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Nursing (BSN) from an accredited institution.
- Current nursing license to practice in Abu Dhabi, UAE.
- Minimum of 3 years and up to 8 years of experience as an Emergency Room Nurse or in a related clinical setting.
- Proficiency in using EHR systems and other healthcare technologies; experience in IT-related nursing roles is a plus.
- Strong critical thinking, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.
- Ability to handle high-stress situations and manage multiple priorities simultaneously.

Preferred Skills:
- Certification in Emergency Nursing (CEN) or related specialties is highly desirable.
- Familiarity with telemedicine applications and remote monitoring technologies.
- Knowledge of data analytics and the ability to leverage data to enhance patient care processes.

Working Conditions:
- The position requires flexibility in working hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
- The role involves physical demands, including standing for extended periods and lifting patients as necessary.
