We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Equipment Assistant to join our team in the Consumer Goods sector. This role is crucial for ensuring that all equipment and machinery used in our operations are maintained, organized, and functioning optimally. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in equipment management, a proactive approach to problem-solving, and excellent organizational skills.

Key Responsibilities:
- Equipment Maintenance: Assist in the routine inspection, maintenance, and repair of equipment and machinery to ensure optimal performance and safety standards.
- Inventory Management: Maintain an accurate inventory of equipment, tools, and supplies. Assist in ordering and restocking materials as necessary.
- Operational Support: Collaborate with the operations team to ensure that all equipment is ready for use during production runs. Provide immediate support in the event of equipment malfunctions.
- Documentation: Maintain detailed records of equipment inspections, maintenance schedules, and repair logs. Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies.
- Assistance in Training: Support training programs for new employees on the proper use and maintenance of equipment.
- Safety Compliance: Adhere to and promote safety standards in all equipment handling and maintenance activities. Participate in safety audits and inspections.
- Problem-Solving: Troubleshoot minor equipment issues and work with maintenance teams to resolve more complex problems efficiently.
- Collaboration: Work closely with other departments, including production, quality control, and logistics, to ensure smooth operations and timely completion of tasks.

Qualifications:
- Education: High School Diploma or equivalent; technical certification in equipment maintenance or a related field is a plus.
- Experience: Minimum of 3 years and maximum of 7 years of experience in equipment handling, maintenance, or a similar role within the Consumer Goods industry.
- Skills:
- Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills.
- Proficient in using hand tools and diagnostic equipment.
- Excellent organizational and time management abilities.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Familiarity with safety standards and regulations in the workplace.
