Job Description:

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Equipment Assistant to join our dynamic team in the education sector based in Dubai. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring that all educational equipment and resources are well-maintained, accessible, and ready for use by both staff and students.

Key Responsibilities:

- Equipment Management: Assist in the inventory management of educational equipment, including classroom tools, teaching aids, laboratory instruments, and IT devices. Regularly update inventory records to reflect current stock levels.

- Maintenance and Repairs: Conduct routine checks and maintenance of equipment to ensure safety and functionality. Identify any repairs needed and coordinate with relevant personnel or vendors for timely resolutions.

- Setup and Support: Support teachers and staff in the setup of equipment for classes, events, and activities. Provide technical assistance during lessons and troubleshoot any issues that arise with the equipment.

- Training and Guidance: Assist in training staff and students on the proper use of equipment. Develop user manuals or guides as necessary to facilitate effective and safe usage.

- Ordering and Procurement: Collaborate with the procurement team to order new equipment and supplies as required. Evaluate and recommend new technologies or equipment that enhance educational delivery.

- Safety Compliance: Ensure all equipment complies with safety regulations and standards. Prepare reports on equipment usage, maintenance, and any incidents involving equipment.

- Collaboration: Work closely with faculty members, IT staff, and administrative personnel to support their equipment needs and address any challenges that arise.

Qualifications:

- High school diploma or equivalent; a degree or certification in a relevant field (e.g., Education, Engineering, IT) is preferred.

- A minimum of 2 to 5 years of experience in equipment management or a related role, preferably within an educational environment.

- Proficient in the use of various educational technologies and equipment.

- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail.

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively with diverse groups.

- Ability to troubleshoot and resolve technical issues promptly.

- Familiarity with safety standards and maintenance procedures for educational equipment.
