Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced and dedicated Farm Program Manager to oversee and manage our energy farm initiatives in Abu Dhabi. The ideal candidate will be responsible for the strategic planning, implementation, and operational management of renewable energy projects, including solar and wind farms. This role requires a strong understanding of agricultural practices, energy systems, and project management, with a focus on sustainability and innovation.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Project Management:
- Lead the development and execution of energy farm projects from conception through completion.
- Coordinate with cross-functional teams including engineering, environmental, and regulatory to ensure project milestones are met.
- Develop and manage project budgets, timelines, and resource allocation.

2. Strategic Planning:
- Formulate and implement strategies for optimizing energy production and farm efficiency.
- Analyze market trends and technological advancements in renewable energy to inform project plans.
- Identify opportunities for new projects or partnerships that align with organizational goals.

3. Compliance and Reporting:
- Ensure compliance with local, national, and international regulations regarding energy production and environmental impact.
- Prepare and submit reports to stakeholders, including performance metrics and compliance updates.
- Conduct regular audits and assessments to monitor farm performance and sustainability practices.

4. Team Leadership:
- Supervise and mentor a team of engineers, technicians, and support staff.
- Foster a culture of safety, innovation, and continuous improvement within the team.
- Conduct regular training sessions to enhance team skills and knowledge.

5. Stakeholder Engagement:
- Liaise with government agencies, community organizations, and industry partners to promote energy farm initiatives.
- Represent the organization at industry conferences, workshops, and public forums.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders to enhance project visibility and support.

6. Research and Development:
- Collaborate with R&D teams to explore new technologies and practices that can enhance energy production.
- Evaluate and implement best practices in farm management and energy production techniques.
- Monitor and report on advancements in renewable energy technologies.

Qualifications:

- Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Science, Renewable Energy, Agricultural Engineering, or a related field. A Master’s degree is a plus.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in project management within the renewable energy sector, preferably related to energy farms.
- Strong knowledge of agricultural practices as they pertain to energy production and sustainability.
- Proven track record of managing large-scale projects and teams effectively.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in project management software and tools.
- Familiarity with regulatory compliance and environmental standards in the UAE.
