Position Overview:

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Farm Program Manager to lead our pharmaceutical cultivation initiatives in Abu Dhabi. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in agricultural management, particularly in the cultivation of medicinal plants and herbs used in the pharmaceutical industry. This role will require excellent program management skills, a deep understanding of agricultural practices, and the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.

Key Responsibilities:

- Farm Management: Oversee the daily operations of the farm, ensuring the cultivation of high-quality medicinal plants in compliance with industry standards and regulations.

- Program Development: Design and implement farm programs that align with the company's pharmaceutical objectives, focusing on sustainability, efficiency, and productivity.

- Research and Development: Collaborate with R&D teams to identify and evaluate new plant varieties and cultivation techniques that can enhance product quality and yield.

- Compliance and Safety: Ensure all farming activities adhere to local agricultural regulations, health and safety standards, and Good Agricultural Practices (GAP).

- Budget Management: Develop and manage budgets for farm operations, ensuring cost-effective practices while maintaining high standards of quality.

- Team Leadership: Lead and mentor a team of agronomists, farm workers, and technicians; foster a culture of continuous improvement and professional development.

- Stakeholder Engagement: Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including government agencies, suppliers, and research institutions.

- Data Analysis: Monitor and analyze farm performance metrics, preparing regular reports on productivity, resource utilization, and project outcomes.

- Innovation: Stay current with industry trends and advancements in agricultural technology, implementing innovative solutions to optimize farm operations.

Qualifications:

- Bachelor’s degree in Agricultural Science, Horticulture, Agronomy, or a related field. A Master’s degree is a plus.

- Minimum of 5 years of experience in agricultural management, preferably within the pharmaceutical or biotech sectors.

- Proven track record of managing farm operations and leading teams effectively.

- Strong understanding of medicinal plant cultivation, pest management, and soil health.

- Familiarity with regulatory compliance in agricultural practices and pharmaceutical standards.

- Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.

- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.

- Proficiency in data analysis tools and farm management software.
