Job Description:

We are seeking a talented and innovative Fashion Designer to join our dynamic team in Dubai, specializing in retail fashion. The ideal candidate will have a passion for contemporary fashion trends, a strong understanding of market demands, and the creativity to develop unique and appealing collections that resonate with our diverse clientele.

Key Responsibilities:

- Design Development: Create original designs for seasonal collections, ensuring alignment with market trends and customer preferences. Develop sketches, technical drawings, and specifications for garments.

- Trend Research: Conduct thorough research on emerging fashion trends, materials, colors, and techniques to inform design choices and maintain a competitive edge in the market.

- Material Selection: Collaborate with fabric suppliers to source high-quality materials that meet design specifications and budget requirements. Evaluate samples and make recommendations for fabric selections.

- Sample Production: Oversee the fitting and sample-making process, ensuring that designs are accurately translated into finished garments. Work closely with pattern makers and sample makers to refine designs as needed.

- Collection Presentation: Prepare and present design concepts and collections to stakeholders, including management and marketing teams. Create lookbooks, mood boards, and presentations to effectively communicate design visions.

- Collaboration: Work closely with merchandising, marketing, and production teams to ensure cohesive product development and timely delivery of collections. Foster strong relationships with cross-functional teams to achieve common goals.

- Quality Control: Ensure that all products meet high standards of quality and craftsmanship. Conduct final inspections and provide feedback to production teams to improve processes and outputs.

- Sales Support: Assist in the development of sales tools and materials, including product descriptions and visuals, to support retail staff and enhance the customer shopping experience.

Qualifications:

- Bachelor’s degree in Fashion Design, Fashion Merchandising, or a related field.
- Minimum of 3 years and maximum of 7 years of experience in fashion design, preferably within the retail sector.
- Proficient in design software such as Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, and CAD.
- Strong understanding of fashion trends, market dynamics, and consumer behavior.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to articulate design concepts effectively.
- Creative thinker with a keen eye for detail and a passion for aesthetics.
- Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment and meet tight deadlines.
- Knowledge of garment construction and production processes is a plus.
