Job Overview:

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Fashion Manager to join our manufacturing team in Dubai. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in fashion design, production processes, and supply chain management, with a keen eye for market trends and consumer preferences. This role will require a strategic thinker who can lead a team, drive innovation, and ensure the successful execution of fashion projects from concept to production.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Strategic Planning:
- Develop and implement fashion strategies that align with company goals and market trends.
- Conduct market research to identify emerging trends, consumer preferences, and competitive analysis.

2. Design and Development:
- Collaborate with designers to create innovative and commercially viable fashion collections.
- Oversee the design process, ensuring that all products meet quality and aesthetic standards.

3. Production Management:
- Coordinate with manufacturing teams to ensure timely production of fashion items.
- Monitor production schedules, quality control, and compliance with industry regulations.

4. Team Leadership:
- Lead and mentor a team of fashion designers, production staff, and marketing professionals.
- Foster a collaborative and creative work environment, encouraging team members to share ideas and innovations.

5. Budgeting and Cost Management:
- Manage the fashion department's budget, ensuring effective allocation of resources.
- Analyze production costs and implement strategies to reduce expenses while maintaining quality.

6. Sales and Marketing:
- Collaborate with the marketing team to develop promotional strategies and campaigns for new collections.
- Attend trade shows and fashion events to promote the brand and expand professional networks.

7. Supplier and Vendor Relations:
- Establish and maintain strong relationships with suppliers, manufacturers, and other stakeholders.
- Negotiate contracts and terms to ensure favorable conditions for the company.

8. Trend Analysis and Reporting:
- Prepare reports on market trends, sales performance, and consumer feedback for senior management.
- Utilize data analytics to inform decision-making and future collection development.

Qualifications:

- Bachelor’s degree in Fashion Design, Fashion Merchandising, Business Administration, or a related field.
- 5-7 years of experience in the fashion industry, with a focus on manufacturing and production management.
- Strong understanding of fashion trends, consumer behavior, and market dynamics.
- Excellent leadership and team management skills.
- Proficient in design software (Adobe Creative Suite, CAD, etc.) and MS Office Suite.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
